I will listen to the concerns of all the people in my district and bring their voices to Harrisburg.
As a lifelong advocate for the rights of workers, students and the elderly, I have worked to change laws, fight for fair contracts and spotlight budget cuts that create hardships for communities and their citizens.
As an educator, I understand the impact budget cuts have on school programs and on college students trying to finance their education. I will advocate for more education funding from the state and for lowering property taxes.
As an experienced communications director, I have been communicating the people's message to community leaders in order to bring about fair and honest government.
The future of Pennsylvania lies in government reform. That means reforming antiquated laws that disenfranchise Monroe County; standing up to billion dollar corporations and limiting their influence in campaigns and government; fostering an environment that creates jobs, encourages education and protects workers' rights.
There are plenty of politicians in Harrisburg looking out for the billion dollar corporations. The natural gas companies, health insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies have no problem having their voices heard.
I want to be the voice of hardworking Monroe County residents who feel they have no input in government.
In the coming months, it is my goal to reach out to as many people in the 115th as possible. Please check out the campaign news page to find an event in your area.
